Lobster promotion item in dinner - dirt cheap is what drive most people here. |
Cheapest Dim Sum in L.A. but definite also one of the worst. |

This place is very popular among your average Chinese family since it offers the lowest dim sum price in L.A. ($1.39 per dish on the weekdays) and always has some attractive promotion items for dinner.
Parking is manageable during the weekdays except Friday and the weekend is just like most places. Dim Sum hour is always packed here. As someone who has tried all of the dim sum restaurants in San Gabriel Valley, I will say that the dim sum quality is worse than before the price drop. The dinner here is always the same -- very inconsistent quality. Their most popular promotion deal was the lobster, which is clearly not fresh, and the taste suffers from heavy use of oil and grease.
Sure, the deal here almost sounds like a steal, but the reality is that the quality here is pretty poor with most items and that also applies to the service, which is among the worst for this type of restaurant. Everyone will have a different opinion, but if you value quantity and value then this would be place for you -- just don't come here with high hopes for quality food.
